Video Game Logbook

Video Game Logbook ("the App") is developed by Jason Vance. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App and how that information is used.
When you create an account, we collect the authentication credentials you provide (such as your email address or Apple ID identifier). If you choose to provide a display name during onboarding, that is stored as well. Account data is managed through Firebase Authentication.
The App stores data you create, including your game library, play logs, ratings, notes, and custom lists. This data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) and is associated with your account.
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports. This helps us understand how the App is used and improve its quality. This data is not personally identifiable.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information. Your data may be processed by the following third-party services, which operate under their own privacy policies:
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We use industry-standard security measures provided by Google Firebase to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
